The project
Flags every test slower than a threshold, 500 ms by default, and prints a sorted report at the end of the run, with each test's file and line. Integrations for Minitest and RSpec, a CI exit code, and a JSON history of slow tests. Zero runtime dependencies by design.

How it was built
Built in two days of direct commits in April 2026, without the chain: a core of configuration, tracker and reporter, then the Minitest and RSpec integrations, then its own test suite. It ships in every app the rails-rocket-sheep template generates, this site included, which reports any test over 500 ms after each run.
